Trying to update xp sp3 with nlite :/

Hi

I instal Win xp sp3 and write down evry update thats was in Windows update

(KB955759)(KB968389)(KB973687) and so on , then search for it and downlad all of them,(all updates in swedish)

then i use this release

Microsoft Windows XP SP3

and update it with all update in nLite.(then burn)

but when i installd it with xp ,that i done in nLite i got the win 98 theme and some other updates was find 3 more

nothing is removed with nLite , but i got the win 98 theme anywhays and the update have already entered with nlite , but it find it again in windows update ?

Ultraform, you need to attach your Last Session as requested in the large bold RED letters above. Some of the updates cannot be integrated with nLite. I use XP x64, so cannot help with 32 bit updates, but plenty here can. There are Update Packs on the RyanVM forum, but do not know if there is one for Swedish. Please take a look, it will make your life easier if there is. I don't have a clue why the 98 Theme is showing, but we'll look at the Last Session and see if we see something. Has your original source been processed by any other program(s) before you got it? Enjoy, John.

Ultraform, allow me to repeat what johnhc already asked: please attach (do not copy/paste) your Last Session.ini file which you can find in your XPCD (made with nLite) or in Program Files\nLite\Presets. That way we can resolve this more quickly.

Ultraform, we would have preferred that you had attached your Last Session. Please see the area in the lower left of the reply window for Attachments. First you Browse to the file, then click Attach This file. Now that it is here, we'll continue. I see nothing really wrong, but someone else needs to look your updates because I am running XP x64 and am not familiar with 32 bit updates. I did a Google translate on the word Default and found that Standard is the word in Swedish, so I don't understand what your theme problem might be. We do need you to answer my earlier question about your source original CD. Has it been modified before by any other program? Please post a screen shot of a Windows Explorer view of your CD. This can be attached. If you want to see it the theme problem is tied up with the update problem, then starting from a fresh copy of your CD files/folders make an nLite run with no updates. I hope you are using a virtual system to tests your ISOs. VMware Player, VirtualPC and VirtualBox are all free. Enjoy, John.

See this thread. Unfortunately, I only made addons for ENU. You will need to use the integrate switch on your source before you run nLite.

Integrate Usage: /integrate:path where path refers to the folder that contains the i386 folder.

Example: C:\MyUpdatesFolder\WindowsXP-WindowsMedia-KB973540-x86-ENU.exe /integrate:C:\MyXPSource
