Question regarding memtest in WinPE

Hi everyone,

I have a question regarding Memtest in WinPE. Considering WinPE boots in to RAM, could it be suggested that trying to perform a memory test on the same RAM may not work correctly?.

Right and i would use memtest86 or memtest+.

Definately use Memtest like allen says for easiest RAM testing. If you are using a Burn program in PE, I'd recommend you select just to test the memory, and if you do any disk testing make sure not to select the X drive. I always figured it would not be a good idea to test the RAM and the RAMDISK at the same time. It might give an error or just be a waste of CPU cycles.
