vices Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 My slimmed down Nlite iso is missing some drivers so it hangs at "setup is starting windows". How can I transfer them from the source ISO?
MrJinje Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) if these are windows built-in drivers that you removed via nlite, quickest way is to import your last session.ini and rebuild your iso. being sure not to remove them this time.and welcome to msfn Edited May 18, 2010 by MrJinje
Guest Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 You cant. You need to start over. You can load the last session.ini that's located at the root of your nLited CD.
Ponch Posted May 18, 2010 Posted May 18, 2010 (edited) hangs at "setup is starting windows".You can try manually editing the winnt.sif and change the entry "ComputerType = Automatic" in unattended section, then rebuilding the iso only, with nLite.Edit:... sorry I got confused, that line is in the Last_session.ini, but I think it must have been translated somewhere in the winnt.sif. I don't have such file to check right now if it stands exactly like that.Edit second time... Can't find that setting in a winnt.sif so I guess unless someone can find the line in the finished product, yes, the original poster has to begin again. This time leaving computer type as "Automatic". Edited May 18, 2010 by Ponch
