WinPE 2.0 Diskpart cant detect Hard Disk after Intel NIC

Featured Replies

Hi gurus,

I have 2 systems that I tried to get WinPE 2.0 (VistaPE) on. Initially, it detected the hard disk in Diskpart but not the Intel PCI-E CT NIC, so I added the Intel PCI-E NIC drivers to the CD. Then, it can detect the NIC but not the hard disk in Diskpart. The same CD works in all other 20 systems detecting both Intel NIC and Hard Disk.

What do I do?

thanks!

1. What is the name of the INF file you injected?

2. What is the output from diskpart LIST DISK?

1. Intel e1e6032.inf e1g6032.inf

2. The Diskpart List Disk would not have show any disks as present.

If the exactly same CD works on other computers with same hardware then there is something wrong with the bios settings (sata ahci/raid setting perhaps) of computer where it doesn't work.

Is there a reason why you injected both of those? I don't think I've ever used the g version. Try taking the G out and just use the e instead.
