Hi people. This is my 1st post, i hope you help me. :)

I'm trying to make an Unattended Windows XP SP3 cd, so, i found this great tool :).

I copy to my hdd Windows XP (without any Service Pack alredy installed, it's a clean copy) so, I download from micrsoft Service Pack 3 + hotfixes. I used nlite 1.4.8,

1) Loaded the folder where XP (clean copy) was.

2) Loaded the Service Pack 3.

3) Loaded the Hotfixes.

I let nlite to do the job,

Everything went great!

On Unattended Option:, i checked on Unattended Mode: Fully Automate(means no user input required).

also, on Product Key: i wote of course de cdkey.

I let nlite to make the Iso image file.

I used VMWare 7, I made a new Virtual Machine and loaded the ISO file,

The Windows installation started good, but i had a surpise, in the midlle of instalation a Windows pop-up show that i had to write the cdkey again, so i really dont undertand why.

I download the lastest version of nlite but the problem still there.

any help?

I appreciate, sorry for my English.

Let me first say Welcome, ...but then that this has been answered tons and tons of times. Really.

-do the operations under XP as OS, not running Vista nor Win7.

-make sure the key works with THAT set of files before you use nLite or include SP3. I'm not implying your key is invalid or illegal, still that would not mean it works with that cd and your PC.

-if that still doesn't solve your problem, try this: run nLite (still under XP!), reload your original CD, include SP2 only, rerun nlite, including SP3 only, keep those files (backup) as base for next steps with nLite (hotfixes, drivers, unattended etc... all in one go)

-Please report.
