Sp0iLedBrAt Posted April 20, 2010 Posted April 20, 2010 If I continue my windows session (from stand-by) without the LAN cable (internet) in, firefox (3.6.3) automatically starts in offline mode. I was looking for a solution to kill offline mode and stumbled across this experimental add-on here https://addons.mozil...fox/addon/13152 , but that's not the problem. The thing is this quote from the page in the linkThis add-on is not technically needed for Firefox 3.6 and above since a hidden boolean preference ("network.manage-offline-status") was added, which if set to false, will disable automatic offline mode functionality.I opened about:config and couldn't find this option. Can you guys find it?
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted April 20, 2010 Author Posted April 20, 2010 (edited) And so I did. Boolean, with false enabled. Edit: After a PC restart and the common practice, it seems to be working. I'll post back if any changes. Edited April 20, 2010 by Sp0iLedBrAt
Sp0iLedBrAt Posted April 26, 2010 Author Posted April 26, 2010 (edited) I can say that, after a few days of giving it a hard time, it works perfect. Here are a few photos as a manual for those of you that want the same thing. (There are 3 photos) Edited April 26, 2010 by Sp0iLedBrAt
