shultzjr Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 hi all,I am having troubles getting several computers with xph to access files on another xph machine.If I have two computers with xph sp3 on them and I want both computers to have access to multiple subfolders on each computer, is this possible without putting every user on every machine?this is the senario: C1 with fred on it and C2 with bob on it. I want bob to be able to see/delete files on several folders of freds' choosing, and the other way around. That's it. I don't want to globally share C and D drive just to get what I want. why is this so hard? I don't want to add bob to freds computer as a member and just a thought why do both have to be administrators if that is required? I don't need security, I need to have easy access!!!Any pointers to relevant websites is grately appreciated,charles.....PS. no firewalls are affecting the results.
