disable fast user switching & disable administrator forced user lo

Ok, so I have to admit, we leaped frog Vista and landed smack dab into the middle of deploying w7 in all its' glory - so please forgive me if this was addressed in the Vista/some-other forum, my searches turned up nothing :(

windows 7 clients in a windows 2008 domain..

we've always disabled fast user switching in the past for our XP boxes and thought we would get away with doing the same thing to our w7 clients - we did. The GPO works, BUT with one major issue - we cannot log off users/unlock the computer from the console using our administrator credentials because the 'switch user' button is removed when the workstation is locked!?!? With fast user switching disabled, it appears that only the currently logged on user can unlock the workstation, please tell me something that I'm missing ( perhaps the whole point :) )

simple problem - hopefully repeatable - and easily solvable :)

TIA!

( of course if we remove the handy GPO item - disable fast user switching - the 'switch user' button appears again, but we would really like the ability to log off users completely )

There are a couple things I can see. One is a security option:

Interactive Logon: Require Domain Controller authentication to unlock workstation

This by default in 7 Pro is disabled. This might fix that problem of the admin accounts not being able to log a user off.
