Error XP sp3

Featured Replies

A little more info about the system might be useful, like was this an upgraded XPSP2 to XPSP3 install, or a clean install of XPSP3? Was this installation modified in any way by tools like nLite? If you install the latest Windows Installer update, does it also fail?

The solution is... copy Fp4autl.dll from the cd to the "C :\Program

Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\40\Bin\" dir.

The Fp4autl.dll file is located inside the CDROOT\Rosebud.en-us\RbudLR.CAB.

To resolve this issue extract the file out of RbudLR.CAB and replace the file

located at C :\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server

Extensions\40\Bin\ and then reinstall office

Well sorry to say, but given the fact that there is no text at all in your first post (you can still edit it), I doubt this thread could help anyone searching the internet for a solution to "that" problem. It also shows that if you had answered Cluberti's question (be it for thanking him to take time and interest in your problem), you might have gotten your solution a bit earlier than 9 months later. :angel
