GODISHIGH Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 my computer has be shutting down at random and i believe this is the colprit. i need to know how to fix this error as my pc will just shut down at anytime while i am using it: on the net, typing, sending email, etc. help would be appreciatedthanksjohnthis is the error message:Description: Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage > 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected.
Tripredacus Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 This error does not appear to be related to rebooting or lockup issues, but more so that a program is not functioning properly. There is a lengthy discussion here (this is google cache) where this problem happens on a PC with Vista x64 and an ATI card. As I search the google, I find I've looked up this message before.
