how many types of OEMBIOS filesets are there?

mr_smartepants, Bezalel, and ??? have said that XP and Server 2003 use different OEMBIOS filesets.

(...and I know Vista uses a totally different activation method)

Also, "OEMAUTO by mr_smartepants" has different OEMBIOS filesets for:

• Windows XP Home Edition
  Windows XP Media Center Edition
  Windows XP Professional
  Windows XP Professional x64
  Windows Server 2003 Standard
  Windows Server 2003 Standard x64
  Windows Server 2003 Enterprise
  Windows Server 2003 Enterprise x64
  Windows Server 2003 Web Edition
  Windows Server 2003 Datacenter Edition
  Windows Server 2003 Datacenter x64 Edition
  

So here my questions:

1. how many seperate OEMBIOS filesets should I be keeping (per manufacturer)?
   
2. how many sets of SLP keys are there?
   [i know SLPs are not actually locked to an OEMBIOS, but are SLPs locked to an OS?]
   
3. in regards to downloads via OEMBIOS.NET, how do I tell what OS a fileset is meant for?

1 - one for each OS and its variations (?)

2 - one (maybe more) for each OEM "locked to" a given OEM's hardware [i dunno]

3 - subject is scattered throughout MSFN and the web (search/google)

4 - ...and is repeatedly asked about here and elswhere (with direct/indirect answers)

Suffice it to say that I have used a "set" from/for a given PC along with the associated OS install for repair-reinstalling on that particular OEM PC as a personal service to prevent reinstalling (via OEM Recovery, which sometimes wipes to Factory) non-OEM software.
