is it possible to create a dvd that contains vista x64 ultimate and win7 x64 ultimate?

using imagex to export vista ultimate to win7 install.wim works fine.

no errors.

installing works fine till first reboot ---> error: installation process cant be started

any solutions out there?

I would suggest using the WAIK 2.0 to do the export of both the Vista Ultimate and Win7 Ultimate images to a new .wim file, then use a Win7 x86 source as the host for the new install.wim. This was asked here a short while back already.

Same instructions for Windows 7 and Windows Vista... If you have dual layer, you could put x64 and x86 of all editions of vista and 7... or, you can pick and choose which ones you want...
