CPU upgrade from Pentium M 750 to Core Duo T2400

both cpu are socket 479 pins

will the Intel Core Duo processor T2400 work in my Vaio VGN-FJ370 laptop?

Given that the chipset is a 915M, it doesn't support multiple cored processors (those are supported from 945 series upward), so I'm afraid it will be a no-no.
