Hello!

my computer refuse to stay on sleep mode.

now i am using Windows 7, but in XP its the same.

when i setting him in the "sleep mode" the computer shutdown but turn-up Immediately.

i entered in the BIOS and saw the "Wake UP By USB" feature was on Enable mode.

i switched it to Disable. but the problem is still there.

Then, in another test, when i am set him in the sleep mode, before he got to shutdown i pull out all the USB connectors...

Only then the computer doesn't turned-up ...

How can i fix this issue?

The USB device is the keyboard and muse only... :blushing:

Thank you, and regards...

Hope my English are readable...

Go to Device manager and check if any of the hardware has the option "Allow this device to resume from stand-by" enabled (ticked). First suspect: the network card. This is for XP.

Well, we're sure it's the USB host bus - you said you have a USB keyboard and mouse, so I ask which ones and type? Did either of them require drivers for Win7?

Short of that, you can try removing the mouse and putting the computer to sleep, and if that doesn't work plug the mouse in and try removing the keyboard before sleep.
