Sp0iLedBrAt Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Go to Device manager and check if any of the hardware has the option "Allow this device to resume from stand-by" enabled (ticked). First suspect: the network card. This is for XP.
HeX0R Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 But if i unplugged the USB devices there is no problem...
cluberti Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 In windows 7, open an elevated cmd prompt and run "powercfg -lastwake" to see what woke the machine last.
HeX0R Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 (edited) Thank you,i got "Standard USB Host Controller"...and by the MCE Standby Tool i disabled the wake function of the USB...now all working properly... Edited January 9, 2010 by HeX0R
cluberti Posted January 9, 2010 Posted January 9, 2010 Well, we're sure it's the USB host bus - you said you have a USB keyboard and mouse, so I ask which ones and type? Did either of them require drivers for Win7?Short of that, you can try removing the mouse and putting the computer to sleep, and if that doesn't work plug the mouse in and try removing the keyboard before sleep.
HeX0R Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 Thank you...i were edited my earlier post...
