stevexsr
I'm attempting to Slipstream sp1 into a Dell OEM vista DVD, the system this disk belongs to has hung-up with a unrecoverable error durring the auto install of the sp1 update. I was going to attempt a recovering by preforming the slipstream process, createing a vista Sp1 dvd and reinstalling system. I have follwed all directions and the process seems to be working well. The graph appears to reach the 50% range then stalls out. I have left the program running for as long as 12 hours and no further progress is made Anyone have an idea? stevexsr
Problem solved, I did two things to solve the problem, 1. I replaced the Pakmgr.exe with the latest version (1800 vs. 1636) 2. I set Vlite's temp file location manually, insureing it was going to a empty newly created location.
