Does not get the option to create a temporary folder

Featured Replies

I have a fujitsu siemens amilo m3438g. I have to reinstall Win XP home edition, but get the error message "Setup did not find any hard disk drives" during Windows XP Installation. I have googled a lot, and found a helpful article.

I have followed the instructions in the following article:

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows/res...p-installation/

My problem is that I do not get the option to create a folder (f.ex C:\xpiso). After i locate the Windows Installation and click next, I get the Preset window, and then to task selection...

I hope someone can help me.

Best regards

Johnny

In your example, the author points to the files ON CD (read only). nLite needs to be able to edit them. If your files are already on your hard disk, you're not prompted to copy them in a different folder. Be aware that those files will be modified and that you might want to have a backup if you don't have them on cd. But surely you do.

Solved...I was a little blinded. I had copied the Win XP files to the hard drive (source of my Windows Installation). When I copied the files from the CD instead, I got the "create a folder" option. :blushing: :blushing:
