Pez004 Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Okay, so I'm not sure if this is XPize that did this, but I know I haven't fiddled with any of the settings since installing it. For the last week or so, when I use Explorer the cursor--which should be an arrow--has been replaced with a vertical resizing cursor similar to this one:Has anyone encountered this issue, and can anyone recommend a solution?
Oxygen Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 (edited) i think u can reset this to the default setting start --> Control Panel --> mouse --> pointersthen u can customize the pointer or u can choose windows default (system scheme) from Scheme areahope this will help u Edited December 2, 2009 by Oxygen
Pez004 Posted December 2, 2009 Author Posted December 2, 2009 Unfortunately, that didn't work. I also tried changing it to one of the other layouts, but it still is the vertical resize cursor when I'm using Explorer.
g-force Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Seems like the file itself has changed and was replaced with a wrong file with the correct filename.Take a look at "WINDOWS\cursors" to see if the "arrow_m.cur" matches with the correct symbol.
Pez004 Posted December 9, 2009 Author Posted December 9, 2009 (edited) Okay, it fixed itself for a bit, but now the cursor has changed to the 'move' cursor (arrows pointing up, down, left, and right). Should I uninstall and reinstall XPize, or is there another option? And no, the cursor in WINDOWS\cursors was/is correct. Edited December 9, 2009 by Pez004
