Antivirus software not working

Hi,

I've just made an nlite disc of windows xp sp3 and installed it on my computer. Now I'm trying to install an antivirus software, but avg keeps saying "Unsupported windows version" . I tried installing Microsoft security essentials, but the real time protection won't turn on.

Is there something that I've removed from XP that is stopping this software from working correctly?

Aser, welcome. Thanks for the Last Session. It always helps to have it up front. You have run nLite under W7 to create an ISO for XP. This is probably not going to work. Please start over and run nLite under XP. Also remember, please make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit. Enjoy, John.
