Unknown Application Icon for Favicons

The other day my favicons for my favorites turned into the unknown application icon. You know the one. The one that looks like a white sheet of paper with Window in that and 6 tiny icons in that window.

The icon that does not know the application that created the file. I don't know why my favicons did this. I still have some folders that I created there and in those folders that same icon is in these created folders.

So there not even an Internet Explorer E, they're all the same unknown application icon.

So I have tried to resave the favicon or website favorite but they still show up the same unknown application icon. Let's call it a UAI.

So what's up with that?
