Every time I boot from CD, I get this error message:

CDBOOT: Cannot boot from CD - Code:5

The laptop I'm trying to install it on is an IBM Thinkpad which has a PII with 225 MB of RAM and a 6GB hard drive.

And here the Lass Session thingy.

Is there anything that I'm doing wrong?

There are a lot of results when googling "CDBOOT: Cannot boot from CD - Code:5", maybe you need to burn at lower speed. Is that (old) drive able to read the whole CD apart from booting it ? You didn' t happen do burn a DVD did you ?

Does the laptop have a floppy drive? I was able to get passed that error on a Windows 7 DVD by using gujin.

Try to change these settings:

[Unattended]
UnattendMode = 5
ComputerType = Standard PC <<<< change to "Automatic"

and don`t work on the Desktop, use folders (maybe on other partitions):

[Drivers]
C:\Documents and Settings\00653922\Desktop\nlite\AWLCH3028_051208\AWLCH3028_051208\RTL8185\WinXP2K\net8185.inf,0

[Hotfixes]
