i want to edit window xp devices resources because of error code 12

(This device cannot find enough free resources that it can use. If you want to use this device, you will need to disable one of the other devices on this system. (Code 12)

There are very few ways to fix this:

1. Change to manual resource allocation in the BIOS if you have this option.

2. If the device is a hardware card, try it in another slot.

What resource is it missing exactly? If it is a Memory resource, upgrading your RAM may help. Not sure about I/O ranges. Hardware IRQs you can't help, virtual ones you might be able to, but I haven't had this problem since Windows 98...
