maizenbluedoc
Why does Vista Basic not show the caps and scroll lock display and Win Xp does? Is there a setting I can access this without downloading questionable software?
cluberti
By default, neither show you a display for caps lock or scroll lock (or anything else for that matter) - assuming you're not talking about the lights on the keyboard, any pop-ups that display info about the button status would be for your keyboard, not Windows. nitroshift
I believe the OP is talking about some sort of software that was installed on XP (i'm talking about the keyboard driver here)... Try looking on the keyboard manufacturer's website for a Vista-compatible driver. Good luck!
