vLite with Vista SP2 support...

Hello every1

I made a Vista x64 SP2 DVD the official way with the WAIK and it worked fine - installation works great, SP2 and IE 8 are integrated.

The problem is, that vLite crashes everytime I try to slim that installation DVD of Vista Sp2 x64 with it.

1). Is there any way to get a Vista DVD with Sp2 and 64 Bit trimmed with vLite?

2). Is there a new version of vLite available soon?

3). What about Windows 7 RTM - does vLite work with it?

What version of vlite are you using, if you're using version 1.2 go back to 1.1.6 as i've had trouble with 1.2. (seems unstable and buggy)

And you can use vlite with windows 7, but you have to be careful in what you remove otherwise you will corrupt the image!

Unfortunately no change with Version 1.1.6.

I recorded a video using Screen2EXE to demonstrate it: vlite-error.exe [Windows 32 Bit executable self-playing Video - 464 kB - Error occures at time index 02.50 min/sec] - [virscan.org report]. It crashes while removing the Tablet PC Input components

Hi, could you please run ProcessMonitor in background and trace the actions of vLite and post the log?

Here you have - nothing interesting there except the try of vlite to close an invalid registry key - looks like a classic bug
