Vize System Protection has encountered an error

Featured Replies

Hi, can you advise on this failure to reshack 3 files please?

Having run Vize successfully before a couple of times, I now find:

Error found: Operation cancelled

Vize System Protection has encountered an error and has cancelled the Operation to avoid System

File not successfully reshacked: C:\Wi n d ows\System32\wl rm d r. exe

Also write.exe, wscript.exe

finished with errors

Progress bar 30%.

!Restart button bottom right

- means- restart... what? PC? Vize? Unclear.

Application did not exit.

Vize Error Log: 25/07/2009 05:58:11

##########################################

File not successfully reshacked: C:\Windows\System32\wlrmdr.exe

On this occasion Vize was run just after PC rebooted.

Note: When originally run (and once later) - no problems.

Vista Home Premium 32bit, up to date except KB955430 which fails to install, as some others find.

Thanks!

Vize 1.1 beta (the update link => 404 error)

Thanks for the feedback; I've taken a look through the Vize sources XPero handed over to me before leaving, and it seems that this is a generic error message without any specific information, which is unfortunate.

I don't think I can help you, but if you sit tight for a few days Vize 2.0 will be out, promise :)
