hi all,

i am new to programming for windows 64 bit.

i had developed an application. basically meant fot disabling and enabling cd/dvd rom, usb, floppy etc working fine on windows XP 32 bit.

i have configured it to work with 64 bit as windows 64 bit has features enabled to rum 32 bit applications in compatible mode.

however, my application doesn't work the way it used to, while disabling cd/dvd rom.

can i get some help..on how to disable cd/dvd rom in windows XP 64 bit. might be through registry or any other means. as i have to programmatically diable and enable cd/dvd rom. i am working on C++.

any code help will be much more appreciable.
