2003 Server NIC support for PXE?

Recommended Posts

I'm trying to tackle a problem with a customer that I had once experienced before. It concerns the fact that a client can't do a PXE boot to a 2003 Server with DHCP and a relay to a separate WDS. Typically the error PXE-E52, deals with subnets/ip ranges/other security, but sometimes it doesn't. I can't remember how I fixed my problem, which occurred slightly after I joined this site. Long time ago yes?

Anyways, for some reason I have this idea stuck in my head that I had to do something to the server in order for it to respond to some clients. Like a support file, or a driver. But I can't even find the info in a search anywhere, and unfortunately I did not post about it here either.

Any ideas?

NIC is RTL8111, Server is 2003 Standard x86. The NIC is onboard the MSI G31M3-F V2.

Basically the thing is, it works for me but not for the customer. At some point in the past, it didn't work for me and I did something to fix it, but I can't remember what it was.
