Tripredacus Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 I'm trying to tackle a problem with a customer that I had once experienced before. It concerns the fact that a client can't do a PXE boot to a 2003 Server with DHCP and a relay to a separate WDS. Typically the error PXE-E52, deals with subnets/ip ranges/other security, but sometimes it doesn't. I can't remember how I fixed my problem, which occurred slightly after I joined this site. Long time ago yes?Anyways, for some reason I have this idea stuck in my head that I had to do something to the server in order for it to respond to some clients. Like a support file, or a driver. But I can't even find the info in a search anywhere, and unfortunately I did not post about it here either.Any ideas?
Tripredacus Posted July 8, 2009 Author Posted July 8, 2009 NIC is RTL8111, Server is 2003 Standard x86. The NIC is onboard the MSI G31M3-F V2.http://www.msi.com/index.php?func=prodmbsp...od_no=1573#menuBasically the thing is, it works for me but not for the customer. At some point in the past, it didn't work for me and I did something to fix it, but I can't remember what it was.
