Guest Posted July 4, 2009 Posted July 4, 2009 (edited) Hi . . . I am thrilled to have the opportunity of learning these "vLite" techniques. A moderator on another Microsoft Forum mentioned vLite as a solution for an installation problem I am having . . . I am running Vista Premium SP2 on a 32 Bit PC. I recently purchased a 32/64 Bit Upgrade/Custom Install Set of Vista ULTIMATE. The 32 Bit Disk reads "DISABLED" {with no explanation} in the drive. The moderator suggested "burning a custom install disk with vLite" . . . Not unlike most users, I am smart about the basics > > > AND AM GREAT AT FOLLOWING STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS written in a non-technical language . . . Is there any place where I may find an easier explanation of how to make an installation disk for my pc? I can do anything if I can understand the instructions. Thank-You for your time & assistance. p.s. {To be clear: I would like to "UPGRADE IN PLACE" without disturbing my files or settings, etc., RATHER THAN "Custom Install"/ Clean Install. I am assuming the Clean Install portion of these disks will work okay, but I would like to "Upgrade In Place" at this point in time}. Thank-You Edited July 4, 2009 by goldenDragon1
