Explorer.exe and DrWatson crashes in Control panel

Typically, I do not encounter issues of Windows having major problems when I go about my business of approving images. But this time, Explorer.exe and drwtsn32.exe crashed by doing the following:

Click Start -> Control Panel -> Switch to Classic View

So I installed the Debugging Tools for x86 and the Retail Symbols (the Classic Symbols download said it was corrupt) and went about to get Explorer to crash again. Except now I can't get it to crash by doing the same procedure. I imagine that getting a dump file with this tool is similar to using the IIS Debugger, which means you need to replicate the error. Since I can't, the files it is creating might not even be helpful?

For now, here is the information gathered from the initial crash:

-Error Sig: Explorer.exe, Module: shell32.dll, Offset: 0002b284

-DrWatson Postmortem Debugger

P6: 4802a0b2

P7: 0001295d

In addition, three of these errors happened over the weekend, all at 6/29 @ 1:30AM (this morning).

EDIT: Attached the drwatson log file. NOTE: the exception happened (friday) and the symbols were not installed until today (monday). So I don't know how much help this will be.

EDIT2: the customer has decided against using the image based on other problems discovered.
