nitroshift Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 v113 means that you have a beta version of the SP2 and that's why you have a watermark on your desktop. Download the final release of the SP2 and you'll be fine.
Amajed Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Thank you nitroshiftI've provide the link where I've downloaded the SP2 from:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...;displaylang=enis that the beta ver ? its clearly not to me, I got the same name and the same size , if that is the beta ver where can I find the final release ?Thank you again
Amajed Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Hmmm ok I'll download it agian to make sure I got the right update, Thank youI'll you system restore point to back to where I was before installing SP2, is that OK or I should use a deferent way ?Thanks again
nitroshift Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 You`re better off with a fresh install. After installing SP2, run compcln in an elevated command prompt do delete the SP1 files that will be left. Good luck!
Amajed Posted June 17, 2009 Author Posted June 17, 2009 Ok I'll go for a fresh install Thank you very much
MagicAndre1981 Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 open regedit and go to the following key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersionAnd look for the BuildLabEx String. It must contain the 18005.
