A few questions about WinXP French

Guys I am making a WinXP french but I'm having a problem

I need a dotnet that includes 1.1 SP1

Like this one

It is a WGA identification the english version of my winxp unattended uses

WGA_Validation_AddOn_1.9.40.0-2_-_redxii.7z

as an addon to bypass that kb article is there one in french?

EDIT: I just thought about it...since WGA is a version of those 3 files can I just use the english addon?

(I will try it and repost my results)

I still need to know if there is a dotnet that I can use that includes all the dot nets.

Edit: The WGA addon does work it removes the install WGA

I would just need to know where I can find this dotnet 1.1

As per microsoft it says it is

I tried searching for a file that comes close to this but I cant find any.

The closest I find is dotnet 1.1 redistributable but it was made in 2003 and it is 23 mb.

If I could find tht file maybe I can run it on a run once but I cant find any file that corresponds to the one I am downloading

So I am stuck either getting an AIO in french (which the only one that has all the .nets has a dead link)

or

getting that file

can anyone help me?

I'm using Windows XP Spanish, and the best solution I found was the DotnetFX AIO in English from Ryan's forum, and afterwards installing the Spanish language packs. Works fine. I believe the same might be true for French Windows XP.

where would i get the french language pack?

how many language packs would i have to install just one?

(or one for every version of the .net that is being installed from dotnetfx aio?)

Well, wouldn't that be the Microsoft download center?

For your convenience, you can search in English, when you arrive at the download page change the language to French.

I myself have to update Windows XP in more than one language and somethings it can be a pain, but in the end it works just fine.

Yesterday I went reading on Ryans forum and stumbled upon Stimpy's version of the framework all-in-one. Stimpy dropped the framework 1.1 version and looking at his arguments it does make sense.

So now I'm using that package and only 2 languagepacks, 2.0 and 3.5 SP1.

The 3.0 languagepack is strangely enough not needed.

Another advantage is that Stimpy's version without framework 1.1 installs from T-13, so I put it in svcpack.inf.

I did not try to put the languagepacks in svcpack, it might be posible to install the whole bunch from there but I haven't tried it yet.

Another option is to modify Stimpy's pack to include the languagepacks.
