help for a novice user

apologies for such a basic question but I am going nuts trying to sort it.

I am using latest nLite in a basic way and have created the ISO. The winnt unattended file exists in i386.

The file seems ok, has the timezone, cd key etc

When I install into VMworkstation the product installs with no prompts except for the CD key (which is in the file). When I look at XP none of the settings have come through (timezone etc).I have installed both from a DVD and from a n iso location on hard disk.

Thought it might be related to the mode but have tried default, hidepages, auto and still the problem

mary99, I don't think it is your problem, but you do not have the latest version of nLite, 1.4.9.1. Please be sure to get it from the nLite web site. I don't see anything wrong with your winnt, but I am not very familiar with the operators there. And really need to see your Last Session, so, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Please report when you have a solution, so others can benefit.
