Hi All,

I installed Windows XP Service Pack 2. Later upgraded to SP3.

I want to change my user profile picture but am not able to. It provides the option to browse and select. However, as soon as I click on the "Change Picture Button", it gives an alert saying "Automation Server Cannot Create Object". I do not know what it means.

I checked GPEDIT etc and found no restrictions whatsoever. Can anyone tell me how to fix this.

A screenshot of the error message is uploaded here:

Thanking you,

I found this on another site:

To resolve the problem, disable all script blockers if any temporarily and try again. If that does not help, execute the following commands from Start, Run dialog:

* regsvr32 jscript.dll

* regsvr32 wshom.ocx

* regsvr32 scrrun.dll

If the problem persists, try reinstalling Windows Script 5.6 from Microsoft site.
