taking control?

Featured Replies

my grandparents bought a computer and they keep having problems and i keep having to go over to their house to fix the problems. Now they live 30 minutes away from me so its a pain going every time. Is there a way or is there some software i can install on my computer and theirs so i can take control of their computer using mine without them having to do anything at all?

doesnt remote desktop require my grandparents to be on the computer allowing us to take control etc? I want it so i can take control without them doing a single thing...

LogMeIn Free (http://www.logmein.com/). It's easy to install, easy to use, and secure. You'll be able to access their computer from pretty much anywhere you have access to a browser.

Edit: When I have to add a family member or friend's computer, I usually guide them through the process over the phone (giving them my password, etc.). Works fine. :)
