Looking for a program to keep track of bad clusters

I was using Defragler and I noticed that I had a $BadClus:$Bad file on almost every sector. Is there any software to keep track of how big this file is? I want to know when this drive is about to die.

You might want to try LSoft Active@ Hard Disk Monitor, it displays Smart info, will scan for bad sectors, and offers a

guesstimate of power-on hours, probable drive failure etc. I use it (the freeware version) and like the app.

Active@ Hard Disk Monitor

Don't forget to look into the drive manufacture's utilities. Also, these are good for spot checking a drive (testing, no monitoring).

HDD Health (freeware)

HD Tune (freeware version)
