jay Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Hi!I’ve got a little problem with Windows Themes and it would be really kind if u guys could help me.So, I tried to install custom themes on my PC but it went terribly wrong, and after a lot of work I was able to fix my problems and delete the bulls*** but the program I was using (UXTheme Multi-Patcher 4.0) just left me the classic theme! So if someone can just give me a hint where I can find the normal Windows XP theme WITHOUT re-installing Windows (I don’t care if it’s blue or silver) that would be awesome. Greets,JayPS: My Windows Xp is Hungarian and I’ve got SP3 installed, if that matters.
Aloha Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Hi Jay,Check in this folder: C:\WINDOWS\Resources\Themes\LunaIf you see the file luna (Windows Visual Style File) around 4 MB, just run it and apply the default theme.

Guest ShaunDsouza01 Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Hi,if you have any setup of vista theme or other themes first install it.then try.
Aloha Posted May 8, 2009 Posted May 8, 2009 Hi ShaunDsouza01, and welcome to the forum (my first saying welcome here!)It seems that Jay found a way to solve his problem and decided to keep it as a secret! I thought he would share it with us here. It's interesting to know as many solutions for a problem as possible, right?PS. Hmm... Even when I rush into a topic and write the first reply, people don't need it at all! It's very OK, however. And I like the way he said "Aloha Aloha"! Funny to me!

Aloha Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 yes if you havaefound the solution please share it? Wick21, I'm not sure if I understand you well. I guess the problem Jay mentioned is about the corrupted luna.msstyles. If you need a solution for it, I found this here and think it can help: http://www.annoyances.org/exec/forum/winxp/1062372258 Requirement: There must be an XP Install CD somewhere in the house to find! As for me, if I can't find the luna.msstyles on my computer, I'll borrow it from my sister's computer.
