Guest Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 Ipconfig and net are already in Windows. Can you clarify?
Guest alcatraz678 Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 I modified Windows using nLite.. And now I dont have those needed commands
vgsangiuliano Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 (edited) You could download ipconfig.exe and net.exe and put them under $OEM$\$$\System32 folder. You should create this folder in your copy of Win Xp cd on your hd before creating the iso file. You could take a look here http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/18/Otherwise you could copy with nlite a fresh copy of your windows xp and avoid to make mistakes with nlite. johnhc Posted April 29, 2009 Posted April 29, 2009 vgsangiuliano, I think alcatraz678 wants to avoid rebuilding his system and install these components on a running system. This may be impossible but, assuming your files are the correct ones, he could try placing them in his System32 folder and see if that will work. I suspect they need some Registry support, etc and it won't work.alcatraz678, you can search your un-nLited source folder for the .inf files that install these two components and see if you can determine how to install them. I think the real truth is that you will have to start over and don't remove any components that there is any chance of needing in the future. Good luck, John.
