rv31 Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 So assuming a i offer wireless internet in a cafe and only want the customers to be able to access the wireless so hence it would be secured with WPA2 etc... but i don't want to customers to have to enter the WPA2 key, do i have any other options, is this what a radius server can solve, have looked very breifly at what a radius server is so far though. Idontwantspam Posted April 11, 2009 Share Posted April 11, 2009 Are the customers using your computers at the café or their own? Also, what kind of router do you have? If the customers are using your computers, set it all up ahead of time and don't worry about it. If they're using their own, you might want to try getting a router which can run a full installation of DD-WRT, which will allow you to set up a special login page so that customers must put in a code which you give them first.
