SAVCE client liveupdate methods

Hi Buddies,

I am new to the field of the symantec. I would like to know the methods of liveupdate done in the client machines. if the liveupdate does not work properly in the client machine. so can anybody assist to update definitions from the client end or else from primary SAVCE server.
