March 29, 200917 yr MDGx,I have run your Win98SE2ME and loved it, now is there any ideas out there about doing a combo of ME and XP?TIA
March 30, 200917 yr I don't think it is possible because they have different structure.Windows XP is NT based. While windows 98 is dos based. You can simply use kernel ex 4.0 rc2
March 30, 200917 yr it is possible just that you would have to be really good at programming or some thing and waste about a year on just making the beta 'but i dont know i probloy wrong Lol
April 4, 200917 yr Most XP files compatible with 98/98SE/ME are installed by 98MP10:http://www.mdgx.com/wmp.htm#98MP10Others are scattered around these pages [called "Unofficial Fixes"], each has a specific purpose:http://www.mdgx.com/web.htmhttp://www.mdgx.com/add.htmhttp://www.mdgx.com/dx.htmhttp://www.mdgx.com/ietoy.htmhttp://www.mdgx.com/wmp.htmSome of us here at MSFN are usually on the lookout for such files, and if we do find any, we test them and then post here the ones that work properly with 95/98/ME.This page should give you some info on such files:http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=46581HTH
