boot winPE from Extended Partition!

Hi all,

As we can boot winPE from a primary partition of a Hard Drive, in same way can we have winPE in a Logical Drive of an Extended partition and boot the machine with this?

Generally, yes.

Are you talking about WinPE 1.x or 2.x?

You may need to "fix" the Logical Volume inside Extended Partition to act as "primary", see here:
