gotboost007 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Hey what's up guys. I'm new to using nlite and seem to be having problems. I'm trying to make a slipstream of a XP SP2 cd w/ SATA drivers for a Sony VGN-NS140E/W laptop. It has an intel ICH9M-E/M SATA AHCI. I can add the drivers fine but when it comes to making the iso I'm getting a windows error. Attached is a pic of the error and the lastsession.iniLAST_SESSION.INI
johnhc Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 gotboost007, I have not seen this error before. Your Last Session looks fine, really quite simple. The only thing I can think of is a bad DL/install of .NET Framework or nLite. Did you check the MD5 for nLite or run other applications that use .NET? I would first try removing nLite, DLing a new copy (check the MD5!), install it and try again. Good luck and please let us know the outcome. Enjoy, John.
mara- Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 This looks like .NetFramework problem. Re-Install NetFramework 2.0 and that should solve the problem.Cheers
gotboost007 Posted March 19, 2009 Author Posted March 19, 2009 After countless hours chasing a .net issue it turned out to be the actual XP files I was using. I found a Dell OEM disc and tried using that as a test and it worked like a charm. Thanks for everyone's help.
johnhc Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Weird, gotboost007, thanks much for reporting. Enjoy, John.
