Problems I faced!

Well first of all

Hello to all the guyz and helpers & sponsors here

I have tried many times to have a clean Unattended {Beginner} Windows but I can't couldn't

do that due to some problems If I can get rid of them somehow please help me

as soon as possible

Well what i have done is:-

Made unattended using nlite, added some nlite addons, added some themes using nlite, included

many driver packs nearly all using nlite only OKAY!

Edited winntbbu.ddl file,

Slipstreamed Windows Media Player 11,

I haven't worked so hard for it but I really need to get it worked properly guyz

Problems are undermentioned:-

1> Audio hardware is not even detected

even after including all audio driverpacks

If I dont add the driverpacks then also its the same

I have tried unplug, replug, installing driver without detection etc

many befooled tries, but now I am tired and am sure MSFN is happy to help

One of the biggest problem I have.

2> Whenever a hardware like a pendrive, external harddisk even it is plug n play

then also the driver update wizard occurs and makes me sad, it hurts really

When I click next it updates driver and everything's done successfully

But my problem is that

In my ORG. XP, it works in system notification area and in backgroud it automatically

installs drivers for any connected hardware, oops! PNP only

I don't like that the harware update pop-up doesn't appear in my Windows just like the

ORG. windows

I have included driverpacks for chipset utility also

3> Speed, the main factor lacks in my Windows :realmad:

I did some tweaks also using nlite only

to get it a bit faster

but all in vain

Its like you somehow get Windows Vista Home Premium with a 256MB-RAM PC

which is useless, similarly is installing my windows on my own pc for me

How could I pass it to my friends even if I shame of getting it on my own PC

Nlite is great and easy too

Thanxz to nlite team that has made it possible for even a non-programmer

to bring brightness for this unattended installs

4> In nlite when I integrate drivers in a large number

An error occurs titled Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error

This error closes nlite and my unattended xp install is broken or corrupted

Then I had to do whole thing from the start

When I add only my driverpacks its alright

Please help it out

5> In OEM folder if I copy install folder on my xp cd

All of its contents are copied to system drive and on desktop too

I include in this folder my silent install for runonce command

I have many other problems but not time

Thank You to anyone who replies my queries

Awaiting you MSFN dare's replies

I know you gotta help me for sure

Regards and Luck Wishings

Well, you need to give us even more input.

Information of your hardware?

Which OS is it? XP (Service Pack?, 32Bit or as I see in your Profile 64Bit?)

In which order do you use Driverpack-Base and nLite?

I highly recommand to slipstream SP3 before integrate something.

The hp compaq c702tu needs the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver, which isn't part of XP SP2, then you need a hotfix.

kb888111 - Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio

If you upgrade your installation it's already a part of SP3.

Are you integrating drivers for your PC or even more? I personally would avoid integrating to much drivers in a windows source.

Like g-force above-mentioned "Last Session.ini" which nlite creates would help use to trace your problems.

vishwasmishra, please attach (not paste) your Last Session.ini. Make sure to always start with a fresh copy of your CD files/folders, do all your work in one nLite session and integrate only one SP. Enjoy, John.
