KillerDragon
I'm trying to install my own boot screen with my windows. The first way didn't work for me so I tryed the second way by re compressing the file into a cab file. When I went to reinstall the OS it said that it couldn't copy the file over. Yzöwl
Well since you've given us no information whatsoever in which to base our replies, did you need to use modifype?
KillerDragon
The cab file is ntoskrnl.ex_. I tryed modiype.exe on it and it says that its unrecanisable. I used it on ntoskrnl.exe and it says that its good. I used makecab on ntoskrnl.exe to get ntoskrnl.ex_. Like it says to do for the second type of installing the boot screen in the guide. When the installer copies over the files to get the OS install started it says that it can't copy over ntoskrnl.exe.
shkelqimm
man first of all when u make wallpaper u must be careful cuz, u must make the wallpaper 16bit and then after u make the bootscreen u must make it in format .EX_open run and then write in cmd and press enter, after u make it locate ur ntoskrnl.exe (bootscreen), so if u bootscreen is in D:\Setup then writecd "D:\Setup and press enter, after u make this then write makecab ntoskrnl.exe and the job is done, i hope i was clear
