Hard Drive Format Stuck At 12%

Hi everybody

Basically, I'm trying to format one of my computers using WinXP Pro boot disk because it got infected by viruses. The problem is that the hard drive formatting is stuck at 12% (on blue screen). Can somebody please help me with that?

Get yourself a trial version of Acronis Disk Director, create a boot cd with it and format the hdd that way.
