stones
On 2/13/09 I did windows update on my server. It included 3 updates. They are listed here:1. Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - February 2009 (KB890830)2. Update Rollup for ActiveX Killbits for Windows Server 2003 (KB960715)3. Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 7 for Windows Server 2003 (KB961260)I immediately had problems on my network with internet connections. Most all of the clients have spotty connectivity. When they don't connect they simply have to push refresh and the page loads. Also, overall performance is slower. I looked through my updates to see what might be causing the problem and I believe it is number 2. from above. I went into add/remove programs and located the update and tried to uninstall it but every time I try and uninstall, the wizard crashes. It now does this with everything. I cannot uninstall anything. Also, when I click on "Add/Remove Windows Components", a box pops up and says "Windows Setup: Please wait" and then it goes away. The new box never opens. I went to the WINDOWS folder and located the uninstall folder for that update, but got the same results.
