HTC Dopod U1000 windows password bypass

I have a HTC dopod U1000 when i switch it on oneday asking for password, i have entered the correct password but it kept saying wrong password.

Is there a way to by pass the Windows Mobile 6 logon password? Hard Reset is not an option as it will loose the data in it.

This is a common problem with windows mobile 6 (not recognising the password). I'm afraid that a hard reset is your *only* option.
