Guest driversdownload Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 (edited) I have Radeon 4870 512MB Sapphire and I have crashes in many games. I want to fix this problem by flashing graphic card's Bios in pure dos mode. How to do it via CD, not via pendrive or other tools? Please explain me step by step how to do it.Thanks in advance... ntoskrnl Posted March 1, 2009 Posted March 1, 2009 Are you sure it's caused by bugs in the BIOS? How are you sure?As CD is read-only, you can't back the original BIOS up -> really bad if it messes up and you can't put the original one back.If you still want to do it, you'll have to make a DOS boot-CD. I have no idea what boot sector you should use, propably the easiest way is to emulate a floppy. And you could also install DOS temporarily on you HDD to do it.Any specific reasons why you don't want to do it via USB memory or floppy?
