Are you sure it's caused by bugs in the BIOS? How are you sure? As CD is read-only, you can't back the original BIOS up -> really bad if it messes up and you can't put the original one back. If you still want to do it, you'll have to make a DOS boot-CD. I have no idea what boot sector you should use, propably the easiest way is to emulate a floppy. And you could also install DOS temporarily on you HDD to do it. Any specific reasons why you don't want to do it via USB memory or floppy?
