I used nlite and when i'm done with the entire process it shows up in finder in OS X as untitled CD.fpbf and I am not able to go through the boot camp setup with it.

I've tried burning like 3 disks from different brands and still no luck.

Any ideas?

You are using nlite in a emulator on OS X !? I am not sure, give more details.
